Okay so maybe this is a lil' too far fetched but bear with me.
The cross thing, i just had to do it for the paranoid folks.

Here is the idea.
Start this new month on point.
6 days: for the first 6 days of the new month
6 minutes: for six minutes a day or a multiple of 6 minutes like (12, 18, 30, 60 and so on all depending on your praying skills). Each minute pray for a particular theme.
6 themes:
Praise: 1 minute to praise God
Repent: 1 minute of sincere repentence
Ask: 1 minute to ask God
Intercede: 1 minute to intercede for someone
Silence: 1 minute in silence to listen to God.
Expectation: 1 minute to expect to claim his promises.

Now if 6 minutes is easy you can double it and pray for each theme for 2 minutes or even do 10 minutes for each theme.
The point is to start the month off right, not cowering behind superstitions symbols.

4. Do not watch West Wing Season 7: yes your campaign has been similiar to Matt Santos but don't jinx it.

5. Do not take calls: people will start calling you. People will start making their predictions stay away from them and the TV for the next 10 hours at least

Indiana is not going to give mii a democratic governor as much as I want one. They might give Obama their electoral votes and have a demcractic senator but my beautiful home will vote republican. After MY MAN MITCH i don't know what to expect.

Missouri do not be suprised if this traditionally midwestern state goes Blue. It gave us Senator Claire after she lost in 2004 so it give us a governator also.

New Hampshire: this popular swing state has former governor J. Shaheen challenging incumbent John Sununu for his seat. If she wins she will be the 17 woman in the Senate.
North Carolina: incumbent Elizabeth Dole (R) is in a tight race with Kay Hagan. It really doesn't matter who wins we still get a lady in the room but if Dole loses her sit, Democrats will increase their narrow majority.
Oregon: Smith (R) needs to keep his narrow lead over Jeff Merkeley who defeated the Obama supported Steve Norvick in the primary.
Alaska: Ted Stevens (R) who was recently convicted of corruption charges and who will turn 85 this month has decided to stay in the race despite his recent conviction which could carry jail time (yeah right)

Democrats take at least 4 out of the 10. The minority and first time turn out voters in some of the traditionally red states will make it hard for the Republicans to hold on to all seats. If they are lucky Alaska will kick out Teddy.

North Carolina is a female free for all but with the religion bashing campaign ads I really don't know if the Dems. can put a dent in the Republican armor here. But then with all the hate i think the Democrats should win, i mean using a person religion, calling her a heathen.

New Mexico is another one that I will be watching closely all night, the minority vote will help the Dems. esp. the Hispanic vote on issues such as Immigration but then there is a lot of ground that still needs to be covered.

I am not going to say that instead let us take a trip down memory lane. The last 20 years we have spent together in the Senate have been wonderful. I remember during my first year, you took mii under your wing, I have just graduated from the House of Rep. and you called me aside and gave me valuable advice that I still hold to till this day.

I remember late night meetings in your office discussing politics. I miss the good ole days of free drinks and ladies provided by any lobbyist who needed us. I remember the day we were summoned to Bush Snr. Oval Office and begged to support the Energy deal, I remember having to lie to my constituents about how the deal would bring them jobs and you couched me thru that phase.

The Gingrich revolution of the mid 90's solidified our position and having 20 plus years experience at that time we were riding high. I think the best time we had could have been rejecting everything that Clinton wanted to get down, all the times he sent his wife to the Hill to talk about Education, mercy we had a beautiful ride. I recall your words of advice on dealing with the beautiful blond lobbyist and my dumb rich wife. I remember it all.

This letter is not for nostalgic purposes, i wish it were so but it is not.
I have just one thing to tell you, after all the support that you have given mii and all the years we have spent together on the hill, i have just one thing to say to you

QUIT!

No wonder people hate Christians, NO wonder so many people have left the church and don't believe. The bible doesn't discriminate against race, color, religion, or sexual orientation. The bible does say that God loves the sinner and hates the sin. But are you God? Do you get to go around and condemn people that don't agree with you. Can you focus on his economic policy, or his belief that we shouldn't have gone to Iraq. How about you have a debate on that. Speak to my husband's former co-workers that now line the unemployment lines because Lehman Brothers was expected to "trickle down" money to the people on main street and explain how the bush/McCain doctrine helps them. No he did not...but you do...Instead he went ahead and martyred himself so all that choose to believe could have redemption. Following the Bible is a choice not a mandate.

What is your business what a gay man/woman does? Are you God? Why not love those who do not believe as you? Instead of sitting in judgement of what they choose or how they choose to spend their lives. Should that not be between them and their maker? Should God not be the one to point the finger? The Bible is very clear that our mission as Christians is to love and spread the message of God's love. Not to judge others for "judge not least you also be judged" in the same vein. How about we pick your life apart and see how clean your robe would be then? Who are you to measure which sin is greater,? Believe me, it is so simple for you to take apart other people than look at your own life. How easily we forget the same ministers you defend that rape little children, or the same minister's you defend that are embezzling funds, or members of your church that sit in the pews on Sunday/Sat. and then go home and beat their wife or molest their children... Who are you to sit in judgement? Are these not all sins? But you fixate on Rev. Wright. Are you an African American? Do you know the mental slavery and corruption that this race is experiencing on a Daily basis? Of course not! Yet you judge him for speaking his mind. And by the way when Mr. Ayers was doing his "radical" stuff, Obama was in Hawaii, 8 yrs old.

How about we judge you today based on the stunts you pulled when you were young? The past is the past! If the U. S. Govt. has let the past go, who are you? Does that same Bible not say "Forgive and Forget". The U. S. Govt. did...but you are a Christian so all rules of the Bible do not apply to you...

The bible is very clear on "judge not lest you also be judged". And have you forgotten the concept of separation of church and state? Why impose your own beliefs on that of the whole nation. Get some sense! If you want 8 more years of torture, poverty, unemployment and suffering . If you want to continue to live in your blind state because you don't want to go out and minister but prefer to judge people. Today is Blog Action Day and this year we are talking about Poverty. Yeah, poverty, not the stock market crash or the election. Poverty.

You see every three seconds a person dies of a poverty related illness

but the blood is their viens is blue and not red so we don't care.

Their life means nothing, and so we do nothing.

I could go on and on but I know I can't convince you that life is equal that the breath in your lungs and mine is no different than that in the Sudanese child selling her body to a UNICEF worker to feed her sibling. How do I know you don't see life as equal, hmmmm let mii see about 60 years ago the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was written. Less than 30 thousand humans have signed it.
