I am shocked that Obama is allowing himself to be bullied by the establishment (i.e. Clinton , McCain and others). The essence of his point, not the soundbite that has been overplayed by the media and opponents, makes sense. Whenever times are tough, we all clamor to the things that give us comfort and a measure of control. For some, that God, for others that God.
He needed to turn this attack into part of his stump speech - WE'RE NOT BITTER, YES WE CAN!
